Other things to note Access to Keswick Island is via ferry from Mackay Harbour using Keswick Explorer (Monday and Friday morning departures) or with your private boat. All ferry bookings are to be made online by searching KeswickIsland or directly through Keswick Island office - contact information on one of the photos. Keswick Explorer operations are weather dependent and the ferry does not run on Public Holidays Provisions (ALL groceries, snacks and drinks) must be brought from mainland as there is NO shop on the island. If shopping in advance of your arrival in Mackay (via Coles Online Click and Collect from Coles Parkside), the order needs to be placed with Coles Online no less than 4 days prior and available for collection at least 2 hours prior to departure to the island.
