Lakeland cottage with amazing views

Converted Lakeland barn all on one floor, with stunning views from large pictures windows. Sleeps up to 5 in 2 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Separate sitting room with wood burning stove, comfy sofa, arm chairs and stunning views. The space High Seat is a barn which was converted and extended in the 1960s. It has huge picture windows in the sitting room and kitchen/dining room which face south up the valley and has spectacular views. The cottage can sleep up to 5 in 2 bedrooms: one double bedroom with a king size bed and one family bedroom with a standard double and a single bed. There is one bathroom with a shower over the bath and a wc. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, double sink (with a view), dining table and all the crockery/cutlery/cooking equipment you should need. The sitting room has 3 armchair and a comfy sofa, a wood burning stove and views valley views in 2 directions (including the sunny south aspect). There is a back porch with plenty of space to store boots and coats and a sunny front porch/conservatory where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view! Outside there is space to park one car (more nearby if you need it) and there is a large south facing lawn. ****** Please note: we usually only let this cottage for full weeks from Saturday - Saturday between March and October. Shorter breaks are available in the winter and at the last minute. If you are interested in a shorter break, please also have a look at our other listings which offer breaks from Mon - Fri and Fri - Mon for up to 5 guests. ****** Guest access Guests have their own parking space, entrance and lawn and have exclusive use of the cottage. They are welcome to explore our small wooded fell side behind the cottage. We have one outdoor wood fired hot tub in our little wood, which can be booked for a day at a time for an additional cost by guests staying in any of our accommodation. Please book in advance and check availability before you book accommodation if this is an integral part of your holiday plans.
