The space Hannus is a over 100 years old ship, originally built as a sailing cargo vessel. Nowadays the ship is used as a cosy hostel for individual travellers and groups. The ship offers 24 beds in 10 cabins, most cabins have 2 beds, two cabins offer 4 beds. Each cabin has its own sink offering warm and cold water and a cv radiator. There are 2 shared showers and 2 shared toilets. Inside there is no internet, however on deck, outside, there is a free wifi of Antwerp available. In the central room breakfast is served, guest may sit there to talk, read. In concert the central kitchen may be used by the guests. Hannus offers an informal and pleasant stay in Antwerp amids many restaurants, bars and musea like the famous MAS while moored in the antique Bonapartedok, many historical houses and buildings make the unique location. The historical centre of Antwerp is only a few minutes walking away, along the River Scheldt. There is almost always free parking close by. One can reach the ship easily by public transport. From the Central Station take bus 17 until busstop Rijnkaai which is only 200 meters from Hannus. Hannus is an ideal location for individual travellers looking for an informal and affordable place to sleep and stay. Groups may rent the total ship on an exclusive basis for a few days, weekend or longer.
