Healing Retreat in Onerahi
Description
Set in the bush overlooking the harbour out to Mount Manaia and Whangarei Heads, the views are amazing. Bring your kayak or paddle board, it's only 1 min walk to the harbour. It's an ideal base for the many walks and adventures available in the location. Often used as a healing retreat, this is the perfect place if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday for a friends or couples getaway. Also ideal if you’re simply looking for home away from home while you're working out of town. The space This beautiful home is divided into two spaces - upstairs is the hosts’ living space. There is an open space where the internal staircase is located, between the host's living area and the guest suite. The guest suite is the entire downstairs space. It offers a stunning, cosy atmosphere with plenty of indoor/outdoor spaces to relax after your day’s activities. The guest suite has three double bedrooms, a kitchenette, bathroom and a beautiful spacious lounge that opens on to your own deck set against the bush and a private wrap-around balcony (with views of the ocean) connecting to the bedrooms. Books, games and jigsaw puzzles are provided for your enjoyment during your stay. Bedroom one has a king bed, bedroom two and three offer queen beds with sea views. The kitchenette consists of a sink, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, water filter, benchtop oven, electric frypan, convection hotplate, toaster, jug, crockery and cutlery. Barbeque on the deck. Coffee, tea and milk are provided. Guest access Guest access is only to the 'Guest Suite' which is the entire downstairs level of the house. Other things to note A television is not provided but there is unlimited wifi if you choose to bring your own devices. The space is more suitable for three couples rather than six singles. Sleeping is restricted to the bedrooms only. The house has an outdoor dining table (suitable for summer days) but there is no dining table inside. The driveway is challenging if you're not confident with your reversing skills but easy enough, once you know the best way out. There's ample parking on Ormiston Road, with a 10 second walk down the walkway.
