Kangaroos, koalas and echidnas are also on the property. Lots of native Australian birds including parrots, blue wrens and of course magpies flying around the many trees. Great Family House The perfect house for a family adventure for 1 or 2 families, or three couples or for a romantic retreat!! In an area completely untouched by recent bushfires. With 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms - we are sure to be able to comfortably accommodate your group for a wonderful KI holiday! Relax Outside on the Deck! The back deck is great - both day and night. It is spacious, well protected and has a large outdoor dining table and chairs and a gas Weber BBQ. We also have a really comfy sun lounge to lie back on and relax and a rocking chair too! There is plenty of lighting directed out onto the garden so you have lovely bush views also at night and can see any wallabies easily! Cosy Log Fire & Air Conditioning The log combustion fire in the lounge and dining area makes the house warm and cosy in the winter months. Wood is provided and there is plenty of kindling to be found outside. The house has a split system air conditioner to keep you cool in the warmer months. Bedrooms The main bedroom has a King bed with ensuite and the second bedroom has a Queen bed. Both beds have electric blankets so you can be nice and snug in bed in the winter months. The third bedroom has a double/single bunk bed plus a desk in case you need to do some work on your holiday. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedrooms have beautiful bush views and the beds are really comfy! We also have a porta cot & high chair for the young... Walk to the Beach Walk to Shoal Bay from the house... - down the driveway, directly across the road at the end of a little path through the bush - dogs love it and there’s barely a soul to see once on the beach .... Entertainment We have lots of board games, including Scrabble, Rummy, Uno and cards to occupy the kids. Plus colouring in pencils, colouring in books and children's story books. We also have totem tennis, a cricket set, soccer and footy balls. Fun for all the kids.! There is also plenty of open space for cricket, footy or to kick a soccer ball. NOTE: To feed the little wallabies - I buy the feed from the local Drakes Supermarket in Kingscote - you can also put out your vegetable scraps - they especially love carrots and lettuce! Guest access There are about 70 acres of land to explore! No access to the garage or shearing shed. Other things to note Great for a family reunion, romantic retreat or a girl's or guy's weekend away!
