Traditional house in north Nicosia's old town

We live in an old, traditional Cypriot house, in the middle of the Turkish Cypriot quarter of Nicosia's old town, 10 minutes walk from Ledra Street crossing. The house is very big and has a large garden, full of mature fruit trees. The neighbourhood is very safe and friendly. We have been leaving in Cyprus for over 20 years and will be happy to help you with any advice. We have cats and dogs -- all people friendly -- so please take it into account if you think of booking with us The space Our house was built in 1932 by a local Turkish Cypriot family. It has a very traditional layout with a huge entry hall and high ceilings. The way it has been constructed is supposed to protect its inhabitants from extreme heat that we have in Cyprus every summer. The house has been always famous for its roses and we still have some huge old rose bushes in our garden. It is a happy space but because we have pets it is also a bit crazy. :) Guest access The house is quite big and we use its space according to our needs. If, for example, you need a proper working space, we can create it for you. The guest bedroom is very large. It has a huge queen-size bed plus a sofa bed. If you are a family of four we can also provide an additional mattress. Our garden is full of mature trees. We have lemons, pomegranates, figs and grapes. We also grow some vegetables and herbs. We also have old jasmine and roses. During summer nights its scent is exactly like in Cypriot poems about jasmine scent and the old town. In the garden, there are spaces where you can have your morning coffee or just sit and read or relax in the afternoon. In front of the house, there is also a space to park your car. During your stay Ours is a laid-back, relaxed household, where everybody is free to take care of his/her own activities. We will be happy to advise you on Cyprus. At the same time, we are usually busy working people so you won't have us all the time watching your every step :)
