The best of this room is the direct access to your private roof deck with excellent views over the River Dart, the perfect place to enjoy a drink whilst watching the setting sun. This is an excellent place to stay if you wish to explore Dartmouth as it is only a short ferry ride away and actually closer to Dartmouth town centre than much of Dartmouth itself! Kingswear is on the stunning South West coastal path and there are plenty of good walks in the area, no car needed! However if required there is secure parking 5-10 min away at Darthaven Marina priced at £8 for 24 hours. The room has a small but delightful private roof deck accessed directly from the room, with a superb uninterrupted view of Dartmouth, the river Dart and the Britannia Royal Naval College. During your stay I am happy to give advice regarding the local area, where to go, how to get about etc: I have lived in the village for over 30 years so have a very good knowledge of the surrounding area that I can share with you! especially local walks. There are 2 National Trust properties within walking distance; Greenway up the River Dart the former home of Agatha Christie also can access by boat or Steam Train. The other is Coleton Fishacre nestled near the cliffs on the SW Coastpath. There are some fantastic walks on this Kingswear to Brixham section which to my mind is one of the toughest sections to walk for those of you brave enough to tackle it in one day. Other things to note I can sometimes be flexible with the check in time and if not then I am able to look after your luggage so you don't have to carry it around with you! Just let me know and I'll try to be accommodating.
