The Orchard Room ‘A Cornish gem’ Rilla Mill

Our tranquil Cornish Orchard Room, is a perfect holiday and relaxation location. Ideally situated, to appreciate this peaceful and beautiful space. Accommodation is completely separate from the hosts, with off road parking, and a private path. This Idyllic location sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor, great for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. Centrally situated between the spectacular N & S Coasts, with opportunities to experience, surfing, paddle boarding and all coastal activities. The space The Orchard Room is a converted barn, with its own entrance. This peaceful and scenic suite is newly refurbished, nestled in a Cornish orchard. A beautiful wood-burning stove with logs provided to keep you warm and cosy on an evening. This unique suite features double glazing with wooden shutters on all windows for privacy. Provided is a fridge, microwave, toaster, air fryer and kettle enabling you to make wholesome meals. We do provide tea and coffee, and milk for arrival. There is a patio to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst eating breakfast, or a glass of wine on an evening whilst watching the sun go down. The option to buy honey from our bees and jams from our fruit grown in the gardens is also available. To enhance the tranquility of this area, there is no TV or WiFi to the barn (4G is reasonable) this retreat will allow you to relax and unwind without distractions. The double bed has been hand crafted from Oak, all fresh linen will be provided and the bed made up for your arrival. The WC has a lockable door, and a self contained shower unit. All hand towels, and bath towels will be provided for you. The barn can be used as a quiet two night get away, or perfect for those week long holidays. The local village of Rilla Mill has a well established Public House, serving real ales and a selection of local beers. The restaurant is open daily serving home-made cooked food. There are several local villages supporting local pubs and restaurants. There is no cooker in the room, the air fryer is very adaptable, although eating out or buying in are options. There are many places to visit with unique eateries. The historical city of Plymouth is only 18.1 miles away, providing an ideal location for parents or relatives coming to attend the Passing out Parade at HMS Raleigh (14 miles). The Orchard Room is a non-smoking / vaping and no pets area, both inside and outside. Guest access Parking is off road, with a designated space in the car parking area. There is a gated path around the hosts house to the Orchard, a private path around the Orchard Room is paved making this an accessible path in the rain. There is a patio area outside which makes for a quiet relaxing space to eat breakfast, this area looks out onto the orchard with no house line in view. Other things to note This beautiful holiday home makes an ideal retreat for people wanting some peace and quiet, guests can book in for up to 7 nights.
