Botanic Gardens Warriston Field Central but Quiet

Quiet leafy N.E. corner of The New Town, just a mile from centre and a mile from the beach, a small house close to Botanics, the cycle path and easy bus routes. Peaceful - no traffic noise, the city although walking distance is a distant hum. Off street parking usually available at house for a small charge on application, (street parking is metered, rather more expensive and 4hr max stay). The space Small family house where I advertise one double (or single use) study-bedroom depending on demands of my own family (who have mostly now flown the nest). The site and its garden does perhaps have some claim to 'uniqueness', with great southerly aspects and city views. A private car parking space can sometimes be made available, please apply, there is a small charge. Guest access Front door keys provided. Your double Bedroom and shared bathroom upstairs. The downstairs kitchen is small but by arrangement guests can use it, as with the dining area in the sitting room where your breakfast is served. (NB. Sitting Room area not offered). Please eat in dining area and not in your bedroom (no food upstairs please). Some fridge space may be available, also the access to washing machine (no tumble drier) may be arranged. Drying clothes in bedroom not allowed so anyone doing laundry here needs to attend full time- Scottish weather unreliable. (The nearby laundrette has driers and can do your laundry while you explore.) During your stay I'm generally about, happy to offer advice about city access, have been persuaded to offer architectural tours, sometimes by bike, coastline, pubs etc. Other things to note As a one timeTEFL teacher I am happy helping people with limited English and can offer more formalised conversational/business English teaching combined with city guiding. This might involve golf/fishing/painting/cycling. Please enquire.
