BnB Villa Mon Repos antique guest room: yellow

We are gradually renovating our historic villa from 1905 with great attention to detail - you can expect high rooms with lots of wood, wallpaper, parquet floors and chandeliers. We have a total of 2 guest rooms for 4 people + baby cot + extra bed. We look forward to seeing you! or a good start to the day, we serve homemade bread from our wood-fired oven and other delicacies for breakfast. This can be booked for an extra charge of CHF 17.50 per person/night. The space The antique villa was built in 1904 -1905 by the successful architects Pfleghard and Häfeli in Zurich in the Heimatstil style. Architecture that deliberately creates a reference to the place and landscape. Applied between 1896 and 1914, regional references and national symbols, local craftsmanship tradition. Significant, historic villa construction. Extensive, well-tended park with a variety of conifers and foliage. Villa and park largely preserved in their original state. An exceptional breakfast can be booked for an additional CHF 15.00 per person/night. This is served in the separate dining room, in warm weather on the terrace. The living room with library and the Anton Griesser room are open to our guests. Use of the kitchen on request and for an extra charge. The newly renovated guest room "Yellow" is located on the 1st floor facing north and has an original Art Nouveau washbasin. It is ideal for short stays and offers enough space for 2 adults and 1 child on an extra bed. Our nostalgic beds are 1.90 metres long. The bed linen is suitable for allergy sufferers. On the 2nd floor there is a new bathroom with shower/WC for guests only. We are located 40 minutes by car from the nearest ski resort, this is unfortunately displayed incorrectly by Airbnb. Guest access Particularly suitable for children because of the large park, which invites them to climb, run around, swing and play. Our barbecue area, the hammock and the tree house can also be used. Deckchairs can be borrowed. We are also happy to lend out nostalgic bicycles. During your stay We love having guests around and are open to conversation in English and French as well as German. We are happy to give tips for explorations, excursions etc. Other things to note Let yourself be won over by the charm of the villa. Stylish furniture and chandeliers create the right ambience. Every guest should feel at home - from children to their grandparents. Appreciation and respect for antiques, handmade and home-made items is important to us.
