Included is parking for two cars. Fiore del Lago’s location at the edge of the village of Piediluco means you will enjoy peace and privacy. Yet in the village you will find almost anything you need, such as, grocery stores, a bank with an ATM and a pharmacy. For your pleasure there are several restaurants and bars and, of course, a clean and attractive beach. The nearest city (17 km) is Terni, a provincial capital with a large variety of restaurants and bars, shops and supermarkets. The town of Narni, once a Roman village, is but 27 km, the amazing ancient city of Spoleto is 54 km and the famous town/commune of Norcia, known for its sausage, is just 65 kilometers from Fiore del Lago. A variety of activities and attractions available near Fiore del Lago mean there is something for every member of the family. The countryside is ideal for hiking and bike tours and there is kayaking and rafting to challenge all levels of expertise, coordinated horseback riding and, yes, even rock climbing! Surely you won’t want to miss a visit to the spectacular Marmore Falls that are among the highest waterfalls in Europe and located only 6 km from Fiore del Lago. While, for those who love history and antiquities, visits to the many medieval sites and towns of Umbria, like Narni, Spoleto, and Labro, are a must. You will also want to consider the highly recommended trip to the Valnerina Valley which tempts you to stop along the way to visit picturesque villages.
