Our family cottages are located on the bank of Kalwari stream, which joins up with the Tirthan River about 500mts down the stream. We are in the eco-zone of Great Himalayan National Park which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by orchards and step farming fields on one side and pine and Deodar forests on the other, our cottages are literally in the lap of nature. Your stay is bound to form a lasting camaraderie with nature and the valley. The space The only place in the valley that receives sunshine throughout the year. Newly-sawn wood and freshly-hewn stone define the look and feel of our cottages. Guest will have access to One room in the cottage . The cottages are a fine balance between rustic grace and modern comfort. Large, plush rooms with plenty of natural light come equipped with a 'bukhari' and oil heater each. Hot water is available 24/7. For your indoor time, LCD TVs connected to Tata Sky keep you company. Should you fancy a longer stay, stocking up on groceries and dabbling in the kitchen are an attractive option, too. Guest access cottages features a garden and a terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Guest rooms at the Cottage are fitted with a seating area. Each room includes a private bathroom with free toiletries. All units feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the property. During your stay Your stay is bound to form a lasting camaraderie with nature, the valley and us. Other things to note • Dinner ends at 9.30 pm. After which, dinner shall be put into casserole's and and guests can reheat in kitchen appliances provided • No Smoking Activities - ANGLING / FISHING The Tirthan valley is legendary fishing country, boasting some of the richest trout rivers/streams in this part of the world. It is no exaggeration when we claim the valley is a virtual paradise for anglers. Our cottages are strategically located between Kalwari stream and river Tirthan and guests are encouraged to fish for their supper! Trout fishing permits are inexpensive and easily obtained. Angling guides/experts are available on request. So, pack your best gear and bring your A-game. Let’s not let them get away! DRIVE TO SARCHI VILLAGE All the beauty of a remote Himalayan village within drivable distance. Unmissable, even if we say so ourselves. WALK TO CHAINI KOTHI The tallest standing structure of its kind in the entire Western Himalayas. It survived the devastating 1905 Kangra earthquake, although it ended up two storeys short . Visit for lessons in resilience! GUIDED ORCHARD WALK / WATERFALLS AND SERLOASKAR LAKE An escorted ramble through woodlands and orchards in the vicinity of our cottages that promises to leave you enervated and educated. And watch the birds watch you! The valley is abundant in mesmerizing waterfalls and the famous Serloaskar lake. Legend has it that the lake is protected by 100 sons of a goddess!
