Our charming property is perfect for those peace-and-quiet-seekers. The private patio area with seating to watch the world go bye in our lovely open spaced garden is the ideal setting to connect to nature and enjoy the beautiful views of St Tassachs Church behind the property. More than just a relaxing space, Lecale Bliss also offers a perfect base to explore the local areas. Both Downpatrick and Strangford are just 5 miles away, so you can enjoy a bite to eat or immerse in the local history. The space Lecale Bliss is a beautifully furnished and cozy Airbnb, a home away from home. It is the perfect base for exploring the rich history and natural beauty of Northern Ireland. The space is elegantly designed with superb attention to detail. The room has private access and is en-suit and is equipped with a tea/coffee making facilities, a mini fridge and a HD TV. The bedroom greets you with a warm welcome as natural light floods through the patio door and the light and airy room provides you with the perfect space to unwind. Equipped with black out blinds to ensure a cosy nights stay, and luxuries such as feather duvet, cotton sheets and towels and a little homemade treat for your tea/coffee, this truly is the best spot to treat yourself. Guest access You'll have exclusive use of this room which also offers a private entrance and en-suit bathroom. There are basic amenities available in the room such as a mini refrigerator and kettle, so you can enjoy your teas and coffees in private! There is also a patio and large shared garden you are more than welcome to make use of. Other things to note The local area is steeped in the history of St Patrick with St Tassach's church directly behind the property (as seen in the photos) and St Patrick's monument just a mile away, with the most spectacular views of the rolling countryside and Strangford lough! Game of Thrones enthusiasts will also love exploring many filming scenes (Winterfell, Rob's Camp, Frey Twins) as well as the Door of Thrones. There are several restaurants and pubs in the village of Strangford as well as Downpatrick, and the more local bar/restaurant, The Barn, is just a short walk away. If you are in the mood to explore further, Newcastle is just a 30 minute drive away, where you can enjoy excellent hiking and climbing opportunities, with stunning views across the Irish Sea and a lovely beach to enjoy an ice cream. There are countless paths, hiking trails and cycling trails on our doorstep and access to our local National Trust (Castle Ward) is just a short drive away, so you'll not be short of ways to fill your time!
