River Gardens Cabin This is a quirky unique cabin that is stand alone, cozy, with a retreat glamping aspect. Starting with bedroom / lounging in main cabin, flowing out to covered deck area with high roof with clear lights, with outdoor kitchenette / dining that links to the lockable outdoor bathroom. River views from the cabin and many other areas, the property is spacious with large meandering lawns and gardens to explore. It is tucked away yet only minutes' drive into Bethlehem. The space The cabin is newly built with double glazing and a heat/cooling unit, it would suit travelers or a couple The bed is a king size medium firmness. We provide the basic tea and coffee, all toiletries, bedding and towels. The kitchenette is in deck area, has a basic setup with nice working sink, bench, fridge, jug, toaster, microwave, electric wok small bench camp oven, and all utensils, in deck area.. Also the outdoor covered deck area has a large comfy leather couch, bar table, seating and outdoor heater over kitchenette. also a blind for shade and shelter that can be up or down . The outdoors bathroom is linked by this covered deck area and well lit and has a heated towel rail, shower. loo, vanity and wall heater for winter. We have dogs named Beau Jade and Taj they do as dogs do bark but become very friendly very quickly. If you don't like dogs, please let me know and we will make sure they are kept away. We also BnB an apartment that is all in doors living if you prefer that, it is part of yet separated from the main house with its own entrance. Guest access When approaching the start of the driveway, you will see a sign to go right rather than continuing up the main driveway, go through the big wooden gates to the cabin. There is plenty of space for parking. A lock box will be available for a self-checkin and a set of keys to use on the table, if I am about it will be unlocked. The cabin is a newly built modern design, completely insulated and doulble glazed, with a king bed , couch, coffee table, TV and work desk, with indoor out door flow to a covered deck area with kitchenette/dining that links to the outdoor bathroom, it's a stand alone structure that's a bit different, set away from the main house in its own area of the gardens with lovely trees around and views to the river. There is a petanque court you can enjoy, swing seat under the large trees, a rustic outdoor lounge with a unique lounger, egg chairs with a max 90kg loading and meandering gardens / lawn area to enjoy. We do have river access for those that can swim (in summer) and please note children must be supervised at all times. We neighbor Waimano adventure park which has an abundance of activates to enjoy including Kayaking, blobbing and glow worm night tours. We are only minutes drive to the Bethlehem town centre which has every thing you could need , groceries, restaurants, take aways, K Mart and many more shops etc Other things to note Once you have arrived if you wish you can close the gates or not. It is a basic Kitchenette, need to watch not to have to many appliances going at once or can trip the overload on multi plug . this area is an out doors set up so mid winter can get chilly, so bring good warm clothing to meet the conditions. Please turn off all heaters and bathroom fan if you are heading out We are 200 meters away from the SHW 2 so we get abit of road noise in the back ground also plenty of bird songs NB No parties please.
