The Belvédère des Bois

At the foot of the huge cliffs of the Chartreuse, 50 meters from the ski resort, Le Belvédère des Bois is a chalet hidden in the forest with a living room ( 45 m2) illuminated by a fireplace and a terrace ( 50 m2) with stunning views of Belledonnne. The space The woods gazebo is a half-chalet at the end of the road that are in the Chartreuse nature reserve. Quiet and tranquility are common. The hiking trails to the Chartreuse high plateaus leave behind the house, wild animals sometimes come in to visit us in the morning or evening. The view of Belledonne is breathtaking. A chalet designed to meet with friends and family. The living room and balcony allow you to enjoy large tables. The kitchen and central bar create to prepare a meal for many while chatting with those near the fireplace. The stairs are steep and not suitable for people with mobility issues. In winter, in the years when there is snow, the path to the chalet (30 m) is not cleared of snow, cars are parked at the end of the road on two clear spaces for this purpose. The chalet is exclusively heated by a fireplace. This chalet is our main residence. The advantage is that there is everything you need in a house. The downside is that we don't all have the same definition of comfortable and functional space. People who are too demanding or picky abstain.:) Guest access Guests have access to the entire house Other things to note There are two bathrooms but only one with a shower. The main bathroom has an area of 3.5 m2, it is small but functional. We do not provide sheets and towels. The top floor is accessed by a steep milling-style staircase, sleeps 5 and is under-slope " like a refuge".
