Located in the heart of Kampala city, a 6 minutes walk from Kampala road, this spacious suite is bigger than most apartments in the city centre. The A/C suite features 2 bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower/toilet, another with an external shower/toilet, a living room and balcony overlooking Kampala city. Most Kampala attractions, popular bars, companies are very accessible from here. FAST WiFi, a pool, restaurant, gym, free daily cleaning, 24/7 hot water are available. Rate includes breakfast. The space The suite is located in our hotel. Once you arrive, simply inform our friendly staff about your booking and you'll be in your suite before you know it. Very clean and neat with modern furniture, the two bedroom suite has much needed air-conditioning given the high temperatures in Kampala. Your rate includes a Full English Breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits and juices as well as Free Wi-Fi. So are you ready to find out more? Let me walk you through our suite. The Master Bedroom: This has a queen bed that can sleep 1-2 people. Our guests rate our beds as one of the most comfortable beds they have slept on in Kampala (not too hard, not too soft). There's lots of wardrobe space, a full length mirror and even a make-up table! In the bedroom, there is an en-suite toilet and shower. We provide complimentary toiletries i.e soap, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper. We also provide clean towels washed daily. Hot water is available 24/7. Walking out of the bedroom, to your left, is the second bedroom which has two single beds. These beds are quite large as well and very comfortable. This room is smaller than the master bedroom, has its own air-conditioning unit and lots of wardrobe space. In the hallway, just across from the second bedroom, is the external/common shower/toilet. It is just as big as the shower/toilet in the master bedroom. Complimentary toiletries i.e soap, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper are provided. We also provide clean towels washed daily. Hot water is available 24/7. Once you exit the second bathroom, a few steps down the hallway, is the living room which has a flat screen TV, comfy sofas and a dining/work table. This area is perfect for working/relaxing and even hosting friends! There is a phone that connects you to the reception which is open 24/7, should you need anything. A kettle and complimentary tea/coffee is provided. There is a mini-refrigerator in case you would like to store any perishables. There is an air-conditioning unit in the extended lounge area as well. Connected to the extended lounge is a balcony with views of Kampala city. Fast and FREE Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the suite. There is also a free daily cleaning service available so you don't have to worry about a thing. They'll clean the entire suite and change the bed linen too, wash towels etc. Free parking is available on site. We also have a pretty well stocked bar and drinks are available for sale 24/7. There is a Continental/African Cuisine restaurant on site that also does Fast Food and pastas. We have a big and clean pool available for use. A pool terrace overlooking the pool is also available where you could sip on a cold beer or our Tropical Summer fresh fruit juice with a good book in hand. Basically, you don't need to step out of our hotel, everything you need is there. Our staff are very friendly and are always available at the reception which is open 24/7. We also have secure premises which are guarded 24/7. If you require an airport pick-up/taxi services to get around Kampala, we can also arrange this at a surcharge. I am usually on site and I'll be happy to offer any tips/suggestions about Kampala/Uganda should you require these. Location? We are centrally located only a 6 minutes stroll from the Central Business District and there are lots of restaurants/shops surrounding us. There is a big supermarket 6 minutes away by walking, a market for fresh fruits and vegetables, only 10 minutes away by walking and also a hospital in the vicinity. There are two casinos nearby, only 4-6 minutes away by walking and currency exchange services, only 6 minutes away by walking. The police station is also pretty close. We are located in the prime district of Nakasero which has several high end hotels. Tourist attractions are easily accessible from our hotel, only 20 minutes away by car. Popular bars are also only 20 minutes away by car. Most companies/ministries are only a few minutes away by car. The space is centrally located in Kampala city which means that it is a bit noisy during the day time. There are some car parks/markets in the vicinity which contribute to the noise. There is also a school located in the vicinity which will contribute to noise, especially when the children are out and about playing during their break time. Once you're inside the room and you shut the door, the sound will be reduced by half. Also, the school shuts at 6pm and it is very quiet in the night as all businesses shut and people head back to their homes in the outskirts. Picture a financial district at night. Pin drop silence. Who stays with us? This depends on the season. As we are located in the business district, most of our guests are business travelers. However, during the holiday months e.g July, August, September, December, most of our guests are families and solo travelers, who are exploring Uganda. Guest access The hotel is easily accessible from the main road and we also offer ample and free parking. You can access any space within the hotel. Not a problem. Just as long as it's not someone else's room :P Regarding disability access, this may be slightly difficult. We would be able to help you to your room, however, things such as grab bars in bathroom etc are not available. There are also steps that lead to the restaurant, but we do offer room service so you don't have to worry about this.
