Quiet block of flats mainly consisting of young professionals. One parking space available. Medium sized double room (standard double bed), bathroom with shower/bath and large open plan living/kitchen/dining. Second floor living with lift. Suitable for a solo guest or couple. Plenty of space to make yourself at home :) The space Please note this is actually a two bedroom apartment but my bedroom is locked off and I will not be there during your stay. As I live in the property (when I'm not Air B&Bing) - I have some of my stuff stored in the bedroom's wardrobe and draws - I've cleared out plenty of space suitable for a short term visitor, and it's very neat and tidy but please bear in mind when booking - it's more like a home than a hotel room. The bed is a standard double (not kingsize) and one side is against the wall. The mattress is memory foam and very comfy :). In the living room, feel free to relax on my sofa and watch TV, I have general digital TV and Disney Plus. There is also an Alexa with Amazon music installed. In the kitchen, I'm happy for you to use my cooking equipment as long as you clean up after yourself (I have a dishwasher). Please note, for hygiene reasons I cannot accommodate someone sleeping on the sofa. Not suitable for young children - please contact me to discuss children before booking. Guest access You're super close to the town centre (you can even spy the top of the Abbey from my bay window) and the main station to London is just an 8 minute walk so you are well positioned. Please note due to it's central location there is some general traffic and hustle & bustle noise - but it's not too bad and it's generally very quiet at night. I'm on the second floor but there is a lift if stairs aren't your thing. If you need parking just let me know and I will provide you a permit and instructions for the on site visitors parking. Other things to note As this is my home and it has my belongings in it, I find the arrangement works better for people who want to use the space more like a rest base/ pit stop rather than having hotel expectations. Please do bear this in mind when booking. The apartment will be deep cleaned before you arrive and guests are not expected to clean on departure, but I do ask you to place rubbish in bins provided and leave it tidy and pleasant for my return home. Please note, for hygiene reasons I cannot accommodate someone sleeping on the sofa.
