Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Teign Valley in Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor, "The Loft" is an amazing eco-space to stay; perfect for families, couples or friends. Explore our solar powered smallholding with chickens, pigs, bees, veg patch, orchard & polytunnel as well as our wildflower meadows and restored hedgerows. You'll have your own private entrance, allocated parking space (1 vehicle), e-car charger (for small fee) & roof garden. A superb holiday let for a reviving break away. The space A working smallholding with breath taking views of the Devon rolling countryside but just a short distance from Exeter city centre, Dartmoor National Park and the beach. (all about 20mins away) Accommodation consists of two bedrooms (1 king size bed, 2 single beds), large living/dining space, kitchen, shower room and private roof terrace with fire pit. Freedom to stroll around the smallholding, be on the land and enjoy the space. There is an allocated parking space for 1 vehicle, please let us know if you intend on bringing additional vehicles. The accommodation is sensitively designed to be as eco-friendly as possible with environmentally conscious products, top quality upcyled decor and our own home-produced sheepskin rugs. We are conveniently situated for weddings at The Great Barn. Guest access Guests have their own private access into the accommodation, with a shared driveway. Parking is available for 1 vehicle. Guests are welcome to look around the land. We ask guests to stay out of the garages and supervise children. The accommodation is accessed via stairs. Other things to note The accommodation is in the roof of the house so there are some pitched ceilings inside as can be seen in the photos. The accommodation is also at the top of a flight of stairs - we can provide a stairgate in place for your stay if you wish. E-car charger facilities are available (charges apply). We welcome many guests who are visiting The Great Barn for weddings. The accommodation is well situated for this, being just around the corner and within walking distance.
