Paul y Gerardo's Apartments
Description
400 meters from El Pilar and a short walk from the Ebro, the building has recently been refurbished in an effort to maintain the characteristics and spirit of more than 150 years of history. The building was rebuilt after the Napoleonic Wars more than 200 years ago, and in 1884, its owner asked the City Council for permission to raise the roof and add small balconies to each of the units. The area is very central, although it doesn't show the best side of the city and may be a bit dirtier than usual. The neighborhood is a mix of young couples and people from different countries living in Spain and, despite the differences, it is not an unsafe area according to the reviews. Parking in the center is difficult, and this area is no exception: on weekends, it's possible to park for free, while on weekdays, it's a paid area.
