If you're pressed for time like I often am, here's a quick rundown of our apartment in 5 key points: - Fully remodeled in 2022 – a brand-new space - Hotel-quality king-size bed (180x200cm) + a twin bed (90x200cm) in a separate room - Enjoy AC, blackout curtains, high-speed fibernet, and a full stand-up upper floor (190cm) - Seamless self check-in/out with detailed instructions - Prime location on Budapest's busiest tram (4/6) and metro lines (M3 & M4) Choose us, and you won't be disappointed! :) The space It is a whole flat just under your control, including your own bathroom, living space, kitchenette, sleeping area, and a separate small room with another bed. We equipped our apartment with super-fast 240 Mbit/s internet, and a professional wifi router, so working, streaming, downloading, etc. shouldn't be a problem :) We offer a fully equipped kitchen, with plates, utensils, wine glasses, a microwave oven, a fridge, and an electric stove with all the necessary pans and dishes. You will have your own washing machine as well, so you can wash your clothes if you would like to. The apartment has an inner floor, with the kitchen, living room, and the bathroom on one floor, and the sleeping area and the small room on another. The ceiling is more than 4 meters high, so both inner floors are fully functional, in other words, you can easily stand up wherever you are :) The floor is entirely constructed from industrial-grade metal, so it is super sturdy, without any noises and squeaks. The same goes for the steps as well, which are wide and easily climbable for everyone. The upper floor houses two separate sleeping areas: One is equipped with a super comfy king-size (180x200cm) bed, the other is more separated from the main living area (but not with a door) and is equipped with an 80x200 single bed. The apartment building is located on the busy Grand Boulevard, but since the apartment is facing the inner courtyard and is on the 3rd floor, you will be sealed from the noise of the street. In fact, thanks to the new windows and to the fact that there are no directly neighboring flats, the place is completely quiet. The house went through a full renovation a few years ago, so now it fairly represents how past generations of the upper-middle class lived back then (minus horse carriages). History at your doorsteps, literally :) One important note regarding the building is that it has no elevators, only a big and super-wide staircase. Please keep this in mind if you have ambivalent feelings towards stairs. You may need to climb a few of them to get home every day, nothing serious, however, I do it three or four times a day! :) The apartment is situated right at the border of the buzzing Party District. This location is perfect if you would like to explore the city by walking, and then have a good night’s sleep in a more residential area. Being this close to the Party District means that the hippest bars and restaurants of the city are located very close to the apartment, including the iconic Bors Gastrobar and the world-famous ruin bar: Szimpla Kert. Craft beer pubs, Michelin star restaurants, new-wave coffee shops, local farm markets, wine bars, Street Food Caravan… you name it! :) Guest access This is a full apartment completely under your control. You don't have to share anything with others. You will have your own keys and no one else can access the apartment. You will get keys and door entry codes for the main door of the apartment building as well. Other things to note STRICTLY: - NO PARTIES - NO SMOKING (smoke alarm installed, 500 EUR fine) - NO PETS We are doing our best to keep the apartment prices as low as possible, around 50% of the relevant hotel rates. In order to achieve this, we had to select a few areas where we decreased the level of services compared to the traditional 4star hotel services. Please bear with us, and keep in mind that we do this, so that you can have an affordable price! :) - We do not change the towels and the bedding daily (unlike hotels). We only provide changes, if your stay is longer than one week. In that case, we provide fresh towels and bedding once per week. Please get in touch with us to find a convenient time slot for this. - Similarly, we do not provide daily cleaning service either. If your stay is longer than a week tean we arrange additional cleanings once per week. Again, please get in touch with us about the timing. - We do NOT have a physically accessible front desk service, but we do our best to answer all calls and messages ASAP during your stay. Please be hereby advised that the personal data of any guests using any accommodation services in Hungary shall be via an online check-in process in the respective management software used by the accommodation service provider and shall, upon registration, be transferred to the data storage system ‘Vendég Információs Zárt Adatbázis’ (‘Closed Guest Information Database’, VIZA).
