Welcome to Ada’s Cottage. We are situated on Bell Hall Farm which is surrounded by 25 acres of fields. It is accessed down a 150metre bridal way and footpath off the A595. The cottage was built in 1645 and was originally a milk parlour and hay loft. It has been tastefully renovated to a high standard whilst keeping many original features. The space The cottage can sleep 2 people it has WIFI and has a no pets or smoking policy Thank you. The property consists of a large fully equipped kitchen diner which overlooks the garden and Coniston Old Man. The bedroom is en-suite with king size bed and TV. The living room is on the first floor and houses country style furnishing and TV. The views of the surrounding fells and the Duddon Estuary are beautiful, the sunsets are magic every night - different. Guest access There is “private” parking outside the cottage along with secure cycle storage. The garden has a patio with picnic bench we’re you can not only enjoy the views with a glass of wine, or cold beer. Sun chairs can be found in the hallway. There are 2 small cottage featured in the garden along with miniature shrubs and flowers when in season. There are also another 2 landscaped gardens , quite famous now with hikers they contain a small village. All lit up after dusk. Other things to note THERE IS A SECURE LOCK UP / GARAGE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS TO STORE THERE BIKES We like to keep our bookings to 2 guests It is a very quiet location and would only suit couples looking for a peaceful relaxing break We do not allow children or pets - Sorry.
