The space Nya SYLEE TEA BUNGALOW • Nya Sylee Tea Bungalow embodies classic sophistication, with tastefully designed suites having antique furniture, rustic flooring with a picturesque view of the lush green lawns and tea gardens surrounded by abundant trees and foliage The extravagant and quaint rooms of this bungalow, built in 1898, are adorned with an exquisite colonial taste and are a treat to the eyes and comfort to the soul. A spacious verandah overlooks the grassy lawn with the living, dining and recreation rooms offering ample space for family relaxation. All the suites offer a panoramic view of the main verandah of the house with a splendid view of the garden on three sides with unending tea gardens all around making it the perfect place to enjoy the peace and tranquil beauty that Octavius is famous for. The suites have been restored to their original grandeur, for you to step back in time and envisage the life of a tea planter from 120 years ago. The spacious bathrooms of the bungalow are fitted with modern amenities including a walk-in shower. Combining luxury, solitude and an ambience from the yesteryears, these suites are a traveler’s dream the dream of tea-enthusiasts. * WOODPECKER SUITE Woodpecker suite room is one of our medium sized suite rooms available on the property. Named after the grey capped pygmy woodpeckers that frequent our estate in Dooars, this quaint room, reflects exquisite colonial taste. • The suite offers 450 sq.ft of luxury with sylvan flooring and high ceilings • Dressing area of 50 sq.ft to cater to your personal comfort • The suite room is adorned with elegant furniture which includes an antique king-size bed, cupboard, dressers, writing desk and chair The sitting area is adorned with comfortable wooden sofas. • Windows cover the entire length of the outer wall of the suite, which gives you an excellent view of the daintily cut tea bushes *CUCKOO SUITE The Cuckoo Suite in the Nya Sylee Tea Bungalow offers an elevated level of pomp and luxury. Cuckoo suite rooms are one of our largest suites available on the property. Named after the Cuckoos or Koels that fill our estate with lovely melodies, this extravagant suite is a treat to the eyes and comfort to the soul. • Almost 650 sq. ft of sheer extravagance offering rustic flooring and high ceilings • Dressing area of 50 sq ft to cater to your personal comfort • The sitting area is adorned with cane furniture, elegant furniture which includes an antique king-size bed, cupboard, dressers, writing desk, and chair • Windows cover the entire length of the outer wall of the suite, which gives you an excellent view of the daintily cut tea bushes • Extra single bed for a third person sharing the suite. *MYNA SUITE The Myna Suite in the Nya Sylee Bungalow. Inspired by the common hill mynas that chirp around our property, the Myna Suite is are one of the petite and dainty suites available on the property, which offers a spacious room that exude comfort and classic ambience. • Almost 350 sq. ft of daintiness and comfort • The interconnected room is around 100 square feet in size • This Suite has linked double bedrooms with shared bathroom. • Four guests can be easily accommodated in the two linked bedrooms without an extra bed, giving ample comfort and privacy • The sitting area is adorned with cane furniture, elegant furniture which includes an antique king-size bed, cupboard, dressers, writing desk, and chair • Windows cover the entire length of the outer wall of the suite, which gives you an excellent view of the daintily cut tea bushes • Myna Suite can be taken without the linked double bedroom at the rate of the Woodpecker suite. • The maximum number of guests allowed – 4.
