Pavilion in Paradise

Fully self-contained small one bedroom apartment at the rear of our home nicknamed The Pavilion. Perfect for 2 guests, and possible (but cosy!) for 3 guests (reviewed on a case by case basis) The space Think a compact space with cool whites, colour splashes and various decos we have collected over our years of travel. Everything has been designed to make you feel at home (yet on a holiday!!) Pack nothing and expect everything! We have tried to anticipate all the little things you may need (Sukin amenities, beach towels, robes, umbrella, salt and pepper, mosquito repellant etc etc). Bedding features crisp linens (very important!) and summer/winter layers we can change depending on your preference. If there is a facility that we have not listed, please let us know and we can can certainly consider it for you. Guest access You will have the entire space to yourself which includes a sundeck and BBQ. There is also separate access to the street so you can come and go as you please. The only shared facilities are the clothesline and drier in our home should you wish to use them, but there is an additional small washing line at the side for your use only. Whilst the Pavilion itself is yours, the kitchen/dining and deck areas overlook our backyard and into the family room and kitchen of our home and outdoor area. Other things to note We enjoy spending time with friends and will often do this on the weekends on our back deck which is directly opposite the Pavilion accommodation. Never usually late or loud, there may be this presence there at times during your stay. Please note there is a single portable induction hotplate in the kitchenette for limited stovetop cooking - there is also a fridge, microwave, toaster, George Foreman grill, coffee machine and kettle. Outside, we also have a small electric BBQ for your sole use. There is one smallish bedroom with a queen bed - the other sleeping arrangements for up to 1 more guest (on request) is on a very large and comfortable sofa (not sofa bed) that converts to an almost double bed sleeping area - that can comfortably accommodate 1 adult/child. The Pavilion is not set-up for children, although we do host smaller guests from time to time but ask that guests advise us of their child's age at the time of booking/request as there are a number of features that are not child friendly that we like to advise parents of, and in some cases we may not be suitable for families with small children. We are happy to discuss with guests to ensure that we are the right and safest fit for all of our guests stays. Free-to-air television is available in both the bedroom and living room, with Netflix available in the living room only. We have a cat Edina and 2 dachshunds that call us their people! (Sunny and Gigi) Edina lives indoors and the dogs are usually in our home, however do use the shared yard for napping and playing. For guests that like animals the dogs love attention! but are also happy to be ignored and do their own thing for those guests that prefer their animals at a distance. They may bark at times but would usually be inside our home if this were the case.
