Best of all, you are a short easy stroll from the Sun Inn, a famously dog-friendly traditional pub serving hearty local food. Nespresso machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and slow cooker. --- Dining: The table extends for long, lazy lunches, with the door opening directly into the garden patio area and BBQ. --- Open-Plan Lounge: Sink into one of the two-seater sofas by the glow of the cosy wood burner. Includes a Smart TV, Alexa, and a dresser stocked with books, jigsaws and games. --- The Sleeping Quarters (First Floor) The Master Bedroom: A tranquil sanctuary, featuring historic low vaulted ceilings & exposed original beams with a luxurious King Size bed for a restful coastal retreat. There is also a Smart TV for relaxed bedtime or morning viewing. --- The Twin Bedroom with two single beds—perfect for two adults or children. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. --- Renovated Modern Bathroom Refresh after a day at the beach in our refurbished fully tiled bathroom. Featuring an over- bath high-pressure shower powered by a reliable combi-boiler for constant hot water. A heated towel rail for warm towels, and ample vanity storage above (behind the mirror) and below the sink for all your holiday toiletry essentials. --- The Secret Garden At the rear, find a surprisingly large, extremely sunny and peaceful garden. It is fully secure for dogs and children to run around safely. As the sun sets retreat to the dedicated rattan sofa area with a beer, or glass of wine and soak in far-reaching views stretching toward Hell’s Mouth (Porth Neigwl) and surrounding countryside. It is the ultimate place for star gazing and watching magical sunsets under clear night skies. Light the charcoal BBQ and enjoy long summer evenings alfresco. Our patio area with dining table and parasol is the perfect spot for a sunset feast or a slow morning coffee. --- Outside there is a cute garden shed houses with an extra modern toilet and sink—ideal for starry nights spent outdoors! To reach our hidden gem, you’ll follow a lovely short lane running alongside the traditional stone church wall. The lane is narrow, however it is perfectly manageable for larger 4x4 vehicles which can navigate it comfortably with just a bit of care. You’ll find your private parking for 2 cars tucked away at the end, ensuring a quiet peaceful stay away from the main road. --- Storage: A small outhouse by the kitchen door is perfect for stowing your beach gear, wetsuits etc. --- Local magic & Legends: Just steps from your door lies Ffynnon Engan, an ancient holy well. Our friendly neighbour, Susan, is happy to grant our guests permission to visit this 1,000-year-old sacred spot. Keep an eye out for the stone hoofprint near the churchyard, said to be left by St. Engan’s horse centuries ago! --- The Area Llanengan: A 2-minute walk from the fabulous Sun Inn, a legendary dog-friendly pub. It is a short walk to Hell’s Mouth (Porth Neigwl) famous for its surf and long beach. --- Abersoch: 5 mins drive to upscale restaurants (The Potted Lobster, Zinc), upmarket boutiques, sailing, and the world-class golf course. Abersoch is renown for its water sports and equipment is available to hire and guests can book lessons. --- Coastal Path: The cottage is an ideal base to explore the coastal path nearby.
