Beaver Pond Retreat

In this secluded private setting you will find peace and solitude overlooking the enchanted Beaver Pond from the outdoor hot tub. This is a 4-season retreat for skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking and much more. Beaver Pond Retreat offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, screened in porch/game room, outdoor fire pit and full amenities to make this the perfect getaway for your group! You'll have the comforts of home while enjoying all that nature has to offer at our front door. The space Beaver Pond Retreat can accommodate up to 11 guests with lots of common areas for all to enjoy! The main floor presents an open concept kitchen, dining room and living area with exposed beams throughout. Off the kitchen you'll walk out to the screened in porch with a small dining and sitting area, ping pong table and dart board! The updated kitchen features a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, basic drip coffee maker, toaster oven and all the essential cooking tools you need. The living room is furnished with a wrap around leather couch, Smart TV with streaming capabilities, DVD player, movies and games. Also located on the first floor is the updated full bathroom with new washer and dryer available for your use. The master bedroom, located on the second floor, has a King bed and full sized futon with a private porch and beautiful views of the pond. The full bathroom and two more bedrooms are located upstairs with a queen bed in one room and a queen and twin bed in another. Lastly the fourth bedroom can be found on the first floor off the kitchen, it has two twin beds. The large deck offers views of the pond and the fire pit is a major highlight, along with the privacy on the property. We have a propane BBQ grill, an outdoor table and chairs for your enjoyment! The brand NEW hot tub is also located off the deck and is the perfect spot for stargazing. Guest access You have access to the entire home, except for two locked closets labeled accordingly in the kitchen and master bedroom. In addition, guests do not have access to the detached barn/garage at the entrance of the property. Other things to note House Rules: We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc. No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house. Pet's are allowed (up to 2) for a one time fee of $50. We ask that you be mindful of your pets, we are happy to host them but please be respectful of the home and property! This includes keeping them off furniture if possible (if not, use a throw blanket or towel) and not leaving them unattended for long periods of time. We ask that you clean up their waste and dispose of it in the exterior garbage cans. We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.) We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host. No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental. This property is relatively remote, located about 25 minutes from the town of Kingfield with a small grocery store, gas stations and a few restaurants. The home is 45 minutes from Sugarloaf Mountain Resort. Extra's: Limited cell service at this property. Reliable internet & on demand generator. The fireplace is to be used by experienced individuals, we provide a reasonable amount of firewood. Please do you not use it if you are not familiar. The small pond is primarily used for kayaking/canoeing. We do not recommend swimming. Ice skate on it in the winter at your own risk!
