This comfortable yet stylish open plan studio is situated in the suburb of Larola which has 24hour security patrol. The studio is on the same property as the main house and shares a driveway with the main house. The studio has beautiful mountain views from the doube glass sliding doors. The studio is 900m from the nearest restaurants and shops and approximately 1.5km from the central village square. Although the studio does have wifi, signal may be erratic. Netflix only, no DSTV The space The studio is open plan , which means the living area, sleeping area and kitchenette are combined into a single space . The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, 2 plate portable stove & oven combo as well as the necessary cutlery and crockery. there is a separate bathroom, which has a shower (no bath). It is best suited for 2 adults but 2 children can be accommodated on the sleeper couch. The unit is not suited for 4 adults. . The queen size bed has an electric blanket to keep you warm on a cold Clarens winter night. The entrance is through the glass sliding doors which can be seen on the photos. The glass sliding doors lead onto a shared driveway. We live on the property and you may hear us come and go. This unit does not have its own secluded private garden. However, there is garden furniture and a weber on the grassed area just outside the studio which guests are welcome to use. if you are looking for a secluded private retreat then this is NOT a suitable option for you. There is wifi. Being in the mountains and having no fibre in Clarens means that signal may be erratic. There is NOT dstv. Netflix will be available as from 20 January 2025. The property is enclosed and accessed via an electronic gate. parking is on the property. The parking is not under cover. There are chickens and rabbits which roam the property. we do have a maltese poodle that stays indoors but may pop in to say hello There is a weber available as well as outside table and chair, should you wish to braai/barbeque. Given the reverberation in this mountainous area, you may ocassionally hear the music eminating from various parts of Clarens Clarens is a quaint village nestled at the foot of the Majestic Malutis. The village is an artist's delight . Restaurants abound as do quirky little shops. Adrenaline junkies can get their fix by white river rafting, ziplining, to name but a few. There are numerous hiking trails. The area boasts some of the best trout fishing. In addition Clarens has a beautifully maintained golf course and although I might be biased also one of the most beautiful.
