One bedroom accommodation in 300yr cottage

This accommodation is one part of two adjoining 300 year old rustic terraced cottages, with low beamed ceilings, thick stone walls and a narrow staircase. The accommodation is available on a self-catering basis. The Coast to Coast Route is nearby and there is walking from the doorstep. The Lake District is within easy driving distance. Kirkby Stephen Railway Station is 4 miles away. Dog welcome by prior arrangement The space The simple rustic character of the property and great location. Set in a beautiful village in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District an easy drive away. Outside, down a path, there is a lawned area with views over the surrounding countryside. A double bedroom and a single bedroom in the adjoining cottage are also available to rent. Guest access Guests have their own own entrance to this accommodation which consists of one bedroom with double bed together with a dressing room, small ensuite shower/wc, and downstairs kitchen and sitting room. Outside down a path there is lawned area with views over the surrounding countryside Other things to note *Registration. Guests to provide their names and addresses to hosts on acceptance of booking. *Heating: Open coal fire, fuel provided. Guests will need to light coal fires in cooler months as it is the main source of heating for the property. *A dog is welcome by prior arrangement. *The accommodation has low beamed ceilings, and a step between rooms . There are four stone steps up at the back into the garden area. *No TV COVID info: Check in:  At the current time we have had to adjust our check-in and departure times. Check-in is now from 4pm, and not before. The key will sanitized before being placed in the key safe. Hand sanitizer will be provided, please use each time you enter the property. Check out: Check out is by 10.00am on your final day.  Please leave windows open when vacating the property so the property can be aired.  To help us protect the cleaners, guests must strip the beds before they leave and put all used duvet covers, pillow cases, bed sheets, towels, bath mats, tea towels, cloths and oven gloves into the extra bin bags provided and leave in the kitchen.  These will then be stored for 3 days prior to sorting and washing at 90 degrees.  Leave the pillow and mattress protectors in place for steam cleaning. Please ensure all rubbish (and unwanted food) is disposed of into the bags provided, sealed and put into the bin outside.  The Cottages and Cleaning: Bedding, linen and towels will still be provided.  However please note that at the current time we shall only be providing one pillow per guest, if you require more pillows we kindly ask guests to bring their own. If you are bringing your own bedding please let us know. Dog beds, towels & bowls cannot be supplied. We have had to remove some soft furnishings and non-essential items. High grade disinfectants are used in the cleaning of the cottages and all “high contact” areas.  We will be using a steam cleaner between guests.
