Right in the middle of Normandy, just a few kilometers from Caen, you will be able to explore beautiful places while finding yourself in the quiet of this family home built in 1708. The space The Château du Vaugroult, built in the late 17th and early 18th centuries (1708), consists of a central pavilion with a carved triangular pediment, whose coat of arms was destroyed during the Revolution, flanked by two wings. This robust residence, built on the side of a terrace overlooking the Orne, enjoys an exceptional view, facing the small village of Grimbosq and the forest of the same name. In the heart of Normandy Switzerland, you can enjoy outings that allow you to explore the beautiful trails of this preserved region. Not far from Caen and its coasts, you can also visit the places that counted during the Second World War and why not visit the D-Day beaches. Within the castle, you can stay in the right wing where a very warm living room with its huge fireplace awaits you as well as a large family kitchen where all the necessary equipment is available for cooking. A master suite is at your disposal with a double bed of 160 cm and a bathroom. A second bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm is at your disposal. A third bedroom that sleeps 6 is offered (one double bed of 140 cm, two single beds, one bunk bed). Finally, the large wooded and flowered plot at the back of the castle is reserved for you with a table to eat and enjoy the outdoors. For possible events, family reunions, we can offer you more rooms, please let us know! Sheets, towels, bath mats are provided.
