A traditional cute cottage in the village of Lychna - just 5 mins to the beach. The setting takes you back in time for a truly relaxing and unique stay - enjoy unspoilt beaches, sit on the square and drink wine with the locals or explore the island. The space This cute traditional cottage is located in the small village of Lychna. We have kept much of the original character of the house whilst modernizing it - your stay here will be relaxed and simple. The setting offers you an escape from the complexities of modern living and the village is unique and feels timeless. The cottage has one large main room and a much smaller second room. The main room has a double bed (the mattress measures 140cm in width) which sleeps two people and the smaller room has a single bed and a writing desk. The main room also has a small electric oven, a fridge, kettle, cooking pans and plenty of cutlery. The main room has two windows letting in plenty of light. One of the windows has a view of the village and the sea. The second room has a window overlooking the yard/garden area. The cottage shares a yard with the main house (my mum lives here during the summer) but you will have your own patio area within that yard that is partially private. Please note: *As the summers have become quite hot we have updated the cottage and it now has a new air conditioning system. *The bathroom is located in a separate building just outside the cottage- it is not shared and has a toilet and a stand up shower with hot water. *There is no internet connection (but the local cafe has a 24hr fast connection that is free). Guest access There is no wifi, but there is access to a wifi connection in the taverna across the square (less than a minute walk). Other things to note This cottage has an outside bathroom which is housed in a separate building just outside the cottage - includes toilet, shower with hot water.
