High Sweden Bridge (2 hours), Loughrigg (3 hours), Grasmere and back (6 hours), Red Screes (5 hours), Fairfield horseshoe (7 hours), Wansfell Pike & on to Troutbeck (Mortal Man pub) and back via Jenkins Crag (4 hours) etc. There are plenty of pubs both in Ambleside and in surrounding villages.
