Enjoy a retreat getaway in Naples, Maine! This spacious home is on 2+ acres just a half mile from the town beach and Causeway (with restaurants, bars, shops, water activities). The house has been thoughtfully designed with everything you could want on vacation, including a master retreat w jacuzzi bath oasis, hot tub, fire pit, b-ball hoop, yoga props, Weber grill, and kids' room with activities & games. So much to do in the area, but you may not want to leave home! Come relax and enjoy! The space Our home is truly a year-round retreat! Enjoy all the benefits of the Lakes Region in summertime with swimming, boating, mini-golf, arcades, shopping, blueberry picking, and more all within two miles of the house. Beautiful fall foliage awaits in autumn when you can enjoy the fire pit on chilly evenings. In the wintertime, the house is under 20 minutes to skiing and snowboarding! Of course, the hot tub is a favorite at any time of the year, as is antiquing in the area or simply relaxing and enjoying the many amenities of the home. INSIDE Inside the home, you find a mostly open concept first level with large, fully-equipped KITCHEN. Make yourself at home around the big kitchen island that has six stools and ample prep space, as well as gas range and oven. Full size fridge with ice maker/dispenser and freezer and lots of cabinet storage is ready for you to use. Coffee and tea is provided during your stay. DINING ROOM has a farmhouse style table that can seat six. The LIVING ROOM has a TV, gas fireplace, several get-together games and puzzles! There is also a three-season SUNPORCH that has a hanging hammock seat, table and chairs perfect for your morning coffee, and a daybed (ideal for afternoon naps, or could be a sleeping spot for another person!). In warm months, there is an AC that controls downstairs, and cools down the entire first floor well. Upstairs, you'll find the beautiful MASTER BEDROOM retreat! Two walk-in closets, a king-size bed, spa-style bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi soaking tub, and an outdoor little cafe set on a juliet balcony (overlooking the woods). AC in summertime and a gas stove in winter! Perfect for a couples' getaway, or as a break from a larger group. Also upstairs is a second BEDROOM that has a queen size bed and full closet; a full BATHROOM with bathtub/shower combo; a LAUNDRY room with washer/dryer to use during your stay; and a bunk room/second living space! BUNK ROOM is perfect for kids (or kids at heart!) and has two bunks with full size mattress on the bottom and twin on top. There is another TV in the space, an arts & crafts area, plenty of books and building materials, and even a tee-pee to play in. The room has another an AC unit. (For full disclosure, the kids' space has a gas fireplace that is operable only through a remote and a balcony that has a child lock on the door. If you have questions about either of these, please don't hesitate to ask.) In the basement, there is another BEDROOM with a queen sized bed and full bathroom with shower. There is a sitting area in this bedroom, as well as a desk and working space. OUTSIDE The house is on 2 1/5 acres and located .5 miles from the Causeway in downtown Naples. You are close to everything, but have the quiet and space of a private estate. There is a large front yard that is partially fenced in; a two-car garage with at least one spot always available for your use; a large driveway with more parking; and a basketball hoop. There is a FIRE PIT in the backyard; fires are allowed with caution. The DECK is off of the living room and has a Weber grill, eating area, chaise lounge, and rocking chairs. The HOT TUB is about 10 feet away from the deck, and can fit up to four adults at a time. Specific care and instructions for hot tub are provided and must be followed at all times for safety measures. PLEASE feel free to ask us any questions! We love sharing ideas and suggestions, and aim to make you feel comfortable and at home during your stay. Guest access The Causeway is a half mile away, but little sound travels to the house. The road does not have sideways and we suggest that you walk on the road with caution. The house has ample parking (could fit probably 4-5 cars comfortably), with some extra space out by the street. Other things to note - Sheets, linens, and towels are provided. We ask you to strip the beds and put dirty linens on the floor of the bedrooms when you leave. - We use clean, natural products when cleaning the house. The soaps, cleaners, and other products we provide are mostly clean, "green" options (including Method, Grove, Beautycounter, and more).
