Tranquil Open Outlook, Complimentary Breakfast

Our home is set on the city boundary just 8 minutes from the City Centre, 5 minutes from Palmerston North Hospital, 15 minutes to Massey University and very well positioned for walking, tramping and biking tracks around the Manawatu . Our modern home is on 2.5 acres and surrounded by open countryside with great views to the windmills and just outside the apartment, we have a lovely Highland cow named Toffee who shares the paddock with some Wiltshire sheep, an interesting self shearing breed. The space Living just on the edge of the city, we are blessed with peace and tranquillity. Our home is suitable for those who want the convenience of town but want to enjoy a taste of the rural lifestyle, as well as business people who want a quiet retreat after a busy day. The apartment is accessed via a patio door and parking is available right outside where there is a patio with table and chairs to the front of the apartment looking out over the windmills. Guests are also welcome enjoy the large rear patio which has a twin rocking chair as well as the rest of the gardens for a leisurely picnic (picnic blankets available), or to enjoy the simple pleasure of our adult swings, a great spot to watch the magnificent sunsets. We have a very large secure parking area which will easily accommodate cars with trailers, caravans or campervans. The property is accessed via electric gates. Loan bikes are available for a nominal fee. Pick up and drop off to city and airport (just 5 minutes away) can also be arranged. Our open view at the front also allows for the watching the awesome sunrise looking towards the windmills whilst enjoying breakfast. Guests are also welcome to help themselves to produce from our vege garden in summer. Guest access The apartment is for your exclusive use. Other things to note Ideally you would have a car when staying at our property as local buses would still leave you with a 15 minute walk to our home BUT we are most happy to pick-up from and drop-off to the city, airport (5 minutes away), the railway station (10 minutes) or the bus station (10 minutes away) for a small fee. We are happy for you to charge your EV on our premises at a cost of $15 per charge. We also have bikes for hire including a tandem! Electric scooter hire is available all over the city, a fun an enjoyable way to get around. For your convenience, for the first morning of your stay, we provide a continental breakfast of homemade museli, bread and spreads. Complimentary freshly ground coffee, Moccona coffee and a variety of teas are also provided for the duration of your stay. With a little notice ,guests can order freshly made Italian style pizza direct from our pizza oven along with a glass of wine for $20. (You don't need cash as we can request payment directly through Airbnb for this service, if you prefer)
