Our beautiful spacious cottage has everything you need and a perfect home from home to relax and unwind with family and friends. Nestling in the quaint village of Gosforth; with a mixture of mountains, lakes and coastal beaches all within a short drive in a less touristy but equally stunning part of the Lake District National Park. With numerous tourist attractions nearby, you're spoiled for choice. Pet friendly country pubs, café and bakery all within walking distance. The space Dating back to the 1700’s, Wagtail cottage is a traditional country cottage retaining many original features and charm. Deceptively spacious inside with open plan living room offering cosy seating for family and friends to relax. Unwind playing board games or enjoy movie nights together with wide screen TV/ Free Wi fi/ Netflix / Amazon Prime (own account required). The staircase leads up to 3 comfortably sized bedrooms with picturesque views of the surrounding fields and fells. You are spoiled for choice with 2 bathrooms; opt for a convenient shower or a more relaxed soak in the freestanding bath. The dining area comfortably seats 6 with a door leading to the gallery kitchen at the rear of the property; well equipped for making family meals with a free standing range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Patio doors lead out to a pleasant enclosed secure courtyard with undercover shelter perfect for spending summer evenings relaxing with a glass of wine or making morning plans over a cup of coffee. There is lockable undercover hanging available for cycle enthusiasts. Private parking to the front entrance of the property for one average sized vehicle and free parking throughout the village. Guest access There is private access to the property and we provide a self check in service so guests can check in at their own convenience anytime after 4pm. A key safe box for access is located to the front entrance on the right hand side of the door, please feel free to contact me with any enquiries. Other things to note Check ins are Monday and Friday only Weekend breaks - Friday to Monday ( 3 night stay ) Midweek breaks Monday to Friday ( 4 night stay ) We offer discounts for stays of 7 nights and over. Weekly breaks - Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday We allow 2 well behaved dogs at the property, this must be confirmed in your booking (a doggy welcome pack is provided).
