Enjoy peace and space in this rural area where you can enjoy beautiful hiking and biking. A beautiful place to discover Friesland and/or Groningen. PLEASE NOTE! This place Noordwijk is located on the border of Groningen - Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. There is also a Noordwijk (by the sea) near the bulb region in South Holland. This place is located in the west of the Netherlands. The space A spacious guest house with cozy living room, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and 2 bedrooms with double beds. Outside are 2 terraces with a view on the scenic landscape. A holiday home surrounded by nature for when you are looking for peace and space. For a description of the rooms and inventory, see: 'Other notes'. Guest access The entire guest house and surrounding terraces are for your use. There is, in the summer months, a table tennis table and there is a box of outdoor games available. Other things to note *Upon arrival, you can park your car in the parking lot designated for guests. After check-in, you can use the large handcart that is available at the parking lot to take your belongings to the cottage. The cottage is located about 80 meters from the parking space. It is not possible to park the car next to the cottage. For people with walking difficulties, this cottage may therefore be less suitable. Note: We do not have the possibility to charge your electric car. For this, you can use the designated charging stations. (You can find them via Google.) *The entire guest house and surrounding terraces are for your use. In the summer months, you can fully enjoy the area around the vacation cottage. For those who like to be active, there is a table tennis table available, and there is a box with various outdoor games. Do you just want to unwind? Then take a seat in one of the comfortable loungers in a sunny or shady spot around the guest house, or dream away in the relaxing hammock. *The beds in both bedrooms are made with clean and freshly laundered bedding before your arrival. The price per night is based on 2 people in 1 bedroom. If you would like to use both bedrooms with 2 people, there is an additional charge (€30.00 per person per night). Would you please let us know about this when booking? As a gesture of hospitality, we make the beds in both bedrooms before your arrival. This way, you can choose which bedroom you want to use during your stay. *One bedroom has 1 mattress, and we make it up with a double duvet. The other bedroom has one bed frame with 2 separate mattresses, and we make it up with 2 single duvets. Both beds have identical mattresses of the same quality and have been recently replaced. *There are several pillows of various thicknesses and firmness levels. We try to meet as many requests as possible, but unfortunately, this is not always feasible. If you really have a specific preference, then bringing your own pillow might also be an option? *We think it is important that our guests feel safe and that we therefore know who comes onto our property or "just" walks through to the back toward the guest house. If you are expecting visitors, please let us know. *The price for a stay in our guest house is calculated for 2 people. For visitors who stay overnight, the additional cost is €30 per person per night. You can pay this to us in cash. We assume that you will inform us about this before your stay. *For reasons of hygiene, the sofa bed may only be slept on with the designated bedding package. Please let us know in advance if you wish to use it. The cost of the bedding package when using the sofa bed is €30.00, and you can pay upon arrival. *Our cottage is located in the middle of nature and uses an organic septic tank. We kindly ask you not to flush any chemical liquids (such as bleach, chlorine or harsh cleaning agents) or wet wipes and/or sanitary pads - tampons down the toilet or drain, in order to prevent blockages. *There are enough towels for your stay in the drawer of the vanity cabinet. For longer stays, we can change the towels. *The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes, glassware and cooking utensils. The kitchen has a combi-oven/microwave. Please clean it after use. Please do not use your own grill, deep fryer and/or gourmet stove because of the odors. There is no dishwasher in the guesthouse. A clean dishwashing brush, sponge, dishwashing detergent and fresh hand and tea towels are ready for use. Please put the used kitchen utensils back in the cabinets dry and clean. *The guest house is equipped with air conditioning for heating or cooling, but there is also a wood-burning stove, including a generous initial supply of wood to use. Do you need more wood? Additional supply for a cash payment of €10.00 *The cupboards contain all kinds of games, and there are magazines and booklets with ideas for outings, hikes and bike rides in Friesland and Groningen.
