COMFORTABLE stylish room in city centre FAST WIFI

We offer a large, first floor bedroom with private ensuite bathroom (since 2023) and balcony, in our city centre town house. The room is comfortable for 2-3 guests. Our house is located in a lively multicultural neighborhood, just a 5-minute walk from Den Haag HS station with direct train connections to Schiphol airport (30 mins) and major cities. The central museums, royal palace and parliament buildings, as well as shopping district are all within easy reach (10-15 mins walk, 5 mins by tram). The space This light, airy room (27 m2) is located on the first floor and features a private ensuite bathroom and a balcony onto the street (please note, no smoking on the balcony), a double bed, seating arrangement with sofa or chairs, wooden cupboard, drawer cabinet with mirror, a coat rack and clothes hangers. The room has central heating , a refrigerator, an electric fan and a good wifi connection. The double bed is extra large (1.60 x 2.10 m) and consists of box spring, mattress and top mattress of hotel quality. Hypoallergenic bedding. If requested in advance, we can change the double bed into two separate beds (0.80 x 2.10 m each) . For a 3rd guest we provide an extra bed (0.80 x 1.90 m). NEW SINCE FEBRUARY 2023: The room has a private, ENSUITE bathroom with shower and toilet. Shampoo/ shower gel/ hair conditioner, towels and a hair dryer are provided. Coffee and tea making facilities are provided in the room. Preparing food in the room is not allowed, however plenty of nearby shops and restaurants provide food and cold drinks at economic prices (see our recommendations). The room provides a small refrigerator to store your drinks and snacks. Guest access The guests receive a key to the house and a key to their bedroom. Guests have shared access to the hallway and stairs and (private) access to a bathroom. The guest room has a private ensuite bathroom and balcony (please note: no smoking on the balcony) In case of early arrival, we can facilitate bagage drop-off at our house (on request, in advance) Other things to note * To acces the room, guests have to climb the stairs to the first floor. The stairs are quite steep (as seen in many typical Dutch traditional town houses). We require guests to take off their shoes before going to the room. * Smoking is not allowed. Not inside, not on the balcony nor in front of the house, due to smoke from outside entering the house via the air circulation system, therefore causing inconvenience in other rooms. * As our house is located in the city centre, guests should be aware of the usual city sounds. * Overnight stays in The Hague are subject to the municipality's tourist tax (above 12 years).
