Remote Corner is a very well established, and well known Guesthouse It is situated in Parkview, one of the best suburbs in Johannesburg. We are close to Milpark and Wits Donald Gordon Hospitals, Wits University & Zoo Lake. We offer a variety of different units , all rooms open onto the garden or patios, and have private entrances. Breakfast is extra and is available on request in advance. We are a favourite place for writers, academics and even film stars. We have a variety of different rooms available: The rooms are all part of Remote Corner B &B Unit 1 Rose Cottage- is a family cottage that sleeps 4, but equally popular for a single person needing space. It has a bedroom with queen bed, and an open plan sitting room with couches and a desk, plus 2 single beds. There is a kitchenette and a dining area, and bathroom with shower Unit 2 The Coal Shed - is a charming small cottage with a country feeling, white walls, high ceiling, a blend of old and new in a clean tasteful non- cluttered style. It has a compact kitchenette. En-suite bathroom with shower. It opens onto a small veranda. Unit 3 The Granary- is a charming small cottage with a country feeling, white walls, high ceiling, a blend of old and new in a clean tasteful non- cluttered style. En-suite bathroom with shower. It opens onto a small veranda. Unit4 The Ivy Room has a queen bed and is decorated with antiques - it has an en-suite bathroom with original Victorian bath . It opens onto the garden. Unit 5 Flowerpots is our small but charming budget room. Double bed with en-suite bathroom with shower. It opens onto a patio and view of the garden All our rooms open onto the garden or patios The rooms all have tea/coffee making facilites, bar fridges, TV with DSTV. Free Wi fi We are about 1km from Parkview shopping centre and Zoo Lake and the Joburg Zoo, Milpark Hospital and 3 km from Wits University Parkview is one of the older and most sought after suburbs just north of the city centre. We offer breakfast options for an extra charge Strictly no events or parties allowed We are on solar power and borehole water, so dont have many utility disruptions Breakfast can be requested in advance, and at an extra charge Guest access The garden, veranda and pool - please arrange with us if you need to use the veranda. It not available for functions or gatherings - only for guests that are staying with us. During your stay We are mostly here for any questions you have. Please feel free to ask us anything.
