La Pastorella … a place to linger On Monti di Ronco, at 900 meters above sea level - accessible only by car - a fantastically located holiday home with magnificent views of Lake Maggiore. Large garden, covered porch and fireplace make the house a place to relax. The space The tranquility is relaxing and inspiring. The sunrise is unique. The 60 m² bungalow with two bedrooms has a great recreational value. Pastorella is for those who want to relax and enjoy nature. Guest access Monti die Ronco is located 10 minutes above Ronco Sopre Ascona, accessible only by car. It leads up a road (cleared of snow in winter). Monti di Ronco is not accessible by public transport. Parking is available in the white parking spaces above the yellow parking spaces of the Grotto Ginestra. Please do not park in the private yellow parking spaces of the Grotto Ginestra. Then walk 10 minutes to the house. For those who do not yet know La Pastorella, it is recommended to arrive in daylight. Other things to note The property is completely fenced. The house has room for 5-6 people (double bed, cabin bed for 2 people, sofa bed for 2 people). In this case, however, the house is rather full. The hot water boiler contains 70 liters. So be careful with the hot water. The boiler heats up at night. If there is still too little hot water, the boiler fuse can be clicked up once manually in the electrical distribution behind the house, and the boiler heats up in approx. 4 hours. See also photo. In order not to produce too much garbage, there is a compost at the end of the property. Please only throw in rotten, leftover food, etc. Please do not throw in any ash from the fireplace. The fireplace in the living room may be used, provided that basic knowledge of the fire is available. The fireplace should be left clean, so clean the combustion chamber with a broom, empty the ash drawer. The completely extinguished ash should be disposed of. The ash must not be stored in the house, nor may the vacuum cleaner be used to clean the fireplace. Due to the damage to the cement slabs during wood chopping, the firewood must be purchased yourself - possible at every gas station. The grill may be used. The gas cylinder must be closed after use. The grill must be completely freed from grease and cleaned after use, in particular the cast iron grate, the lower drawer, which can be removed at the rear, and the drip tray. The lounge cushions should be kept dry in the cushion box behind the lounge. Please do not leave stains on the pillows. The house is in the middle of nature. For this reason, it is sometimes difficult to keep the house at the level of a hotel or the like in terms of dust. Therefore, we ask guests to thoroughly vacuum the house and leave it clean for the next guest or for us. So far, this has always worked very well.
