Cosy cottage, tranquil & spacious!

Fully-equipped traditional Breton longère. Two large bedrooms and a large room in between, with a large selection of DVDs and videos and hundreds of French and English books, including many for children. Recently-installed kitchen huge main room with log burner and a large collection of CDs and vinyl, all available for you to play. South-facing terrace, ample parking and large pétanque terrain at your disposal, complete with all equipment. The space Lobou is a very special, tranquil place. Everyone who visits loves it and wants to come back for some more Lobou magic! It's a great space for couples, family get-togethers, groups of friends. Upstairs & downstairs lounge rooms have double sofa beds: we've slept up to 10! The house is spacious and comfortable with a good-sized newly-fitted kitchen, large dining/living room with a big dining table which can easily seat 8-10 and two large sofas (one is a double sofabed) and bathroom downstairs; upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a lounge/TV area with a double futon and single bed (a further single bed can be provided, if required). Heating is provided by a logburner in the living room and electric radiators. There's always plenty of wood in the barn to use in the logburner and a good supply of candles for that cosy ambience! Guests may make use of anything in the house: there are plenty of books, CDs, films (including children's), board games, boules, darts and our wonderful collection of old vinyls! Garden furniture and BBQ are also provided. There is also a pétanque terrain by the barn… you will find boules and scoreboards in the garage. Guest access All of the house, the garden, pétanque terrain, part of the barn and parking area. The neighbours use part of the barn for storage/workshop and also park their car in there. Other things to note We have now built our own pétanque terrain, 12.5 x 6.5m, complete with boules, scoreboards and hoops for you to use. You can also play local variants, such as palets and boules bretonnes. All the equipment is just inside the door to the garage, which is on the right-hand side of the barn. In the summer, there are also regular pétanque competitions held in the local town, Guiscriff, and organised by our favourite bar, Au P’tit Bar, as well as many others in the area.
