A separate entrance opens to hallway with access to a powder room and the combined living and bed room. The apartment has a modern bathroom that includes a 2-person hot tub. None of the rooms are shared with hosts. Floor heating provides maximum comfort during the cold season. Beamed ceilings and paned wall-to-wall windows offer panoramic unobstructed views of lawn, open fields and the Roskilde Fjord inlet. French patio doors directly to lawn and the property's private beach. The apartment is part of a 200 year old typical half-timbered Danish farm house with four wings enclosing a cobblestone paved courtyard. The buildings and interior have undergone a total refurbishment retaining the original style. My wife likes Shabby-chic and decorating our house, which is reflected in the furnishing of the apartment. The property is detached with a private shoreline and very quiet with breathtaking views. Sunsets can be enjoyed on a daily basis. The lot is 12,000 m2 . The garden offers complete privacy. You don't see other settlements from the property other than Roskilde Cathedral 11 km away. The water in the fjord is clear, clean, and with a shallow sand bottom. Watch and listen to seabirds and wading birds.
