ISHANA homestay is in a 2 acre organic farm, the only farm left inside Bangalore city. We offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience rural living, an oasis of calm, in the midst of an urban jungle. A rejuvenating getaway, it is ideal for quiet pursuits & enjoying nature. 8 km from the city centre, it is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, artists, environmentalists, writers, healers, spirituality and yoga enthusiasts. The space My farm produces a diversity of seasonal organic food from cereals, chemical free vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices grown for both food & seed production through the year. Shaded by cooling coconut palms and exotic fruit trees, it is home to migratory birds & wild species. Our in-house dairy caters to all our needs. The 1st floor can be accessed through a flight of stairs. There are 3 entrances. The main entrance is marked by the green signboard Annadana. My lovely farmer staff Lakshmamma and Gopala reside in the farm and one of them will let you through. There are 2 other access gates where a security guard will guide you to Laksmamma. I can share their numbers if you will be entering late at night. You have private access and parking. Entry to Ishana homestay is via my farm work station. You can sit out in the space on your balcony as well enjoy the patio amidst the canopy of trees. Other things to note More information - For ease in directions, search 'Annadana' to reach my farm - We co-exist peacefully with friendly dogs, cat, chickens, cows, ducks and more on the farm. - Organic milk & farm fresh produce can be made available, a day prior - Recycling waste in the marked bins provided in your kitchen - Guests are requested to respect the noise-free zone - Smoking restricted to your balcony only - Long-term bookings accepted - Check-in time flexible - Check out by noon - Not suitable for children and infants - No pets - No parties or events - You are liable for any damage to the property
