Delightful, Quiet Town Centre House
Delightful, Quiet Town Centre House
Description
The house is a Victorian stone built end of terrace built on three floors with a garden to the front and a parking space to the rear. There is a feeling of light, air, and space. It is in the beautiful Spa town of Harrogate, a town that has every possible type of restaurant and amenity, there are parks and gardens and a well equipped playground not to mention an excellent range of shops, all within easy reach of the house. I have lived in Harrogate since 1982 and I really cannot fault it! The space Welcome to this brilliant and comfortable house. The house is in the centre of the Spa town of Harrogate. We are just across the road, 1min. from both the Turkish Baths and the famous Betty’s café. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and there is a spacious bathroom on each floor. For those of you who are exhibiting at the Conference Centre or performing at the Royal Hall they are at the bottom of the hill, 5 mins walk, or if you are performing at the Wesley Chapel it is 1 minute away. There is also a theatre, 2 cinemas, a concert hall and numerous restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk of the house. First we are opposite Betty's, famous for delicious pastries and coffee or light meals, and then there are any number and a huge variety of restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the house. Dinner? In Harrogate? No problem! There is a TV, radio, hairdryer, and tea and coffee in all the rooms or by arrangement, and use of an iron and ironing board if needed. There is a lane by the house where you can load and unload and then parking for one car by the house. If you would like to come by train, the station is 10 minutes walk away. For holidays: Harrogate is the gateway to the Dales, with glorious wild walks from hilltop villages like Middlesmoor, where, it is rumoured, Lytton Strachey once stayed at The Crown. If you prefer a more serene splendour there is the National Trust’s Fountains Abbey where you could walk to Studley Royal along the water-side and back along the wooded banks, and the Woodland Trust has restored Hackfall Wood, a must for those of a romantic frame of mind. If you love gardens, the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr are only an hour’s walk from the house. Harrogate’s famous Stray is across the road for a morning or an evening stroll. Guest access The whole house is available for self catering for 3 nights minimum and 7 nights maximum. I will either meet you at the property or hide the keys for you so that you can enter any time to suit you by arrangement. Other things to note The self catering whole house option is available for a minimum of 3 nights and maximum of 7 more by special arrangement.
