Description

Cascina Bissiniga farm offers you a quiet place to spend your non luxury but rustic vacation. In the wide property 2,5 hectares of olive trees plus other 1.5 hectares in which there are 2 vacation houses and our family house.The building is from the 1980s but every year we do something new .Pool was renewed in '21. It is an ideal place for families and for those who loves to be merged into nature. Tourist tax €.2,00 per person from 14yrs old to be payed to the owner. The space If you appreciate space and nature, this is the right place for you! The cottage is situated in private grounds with the owners country house, sorrounded by 2,5 hectares olive grove with 600 olive trees. The apartments are wide and in 2 different branches of the same bold farm house, they just have main stares in common. House A is 133square meters wide and has its own private garden with olive and fruit trees as well as room for pets. It is a very peaceful place with a great view of the town and the countryside. From the pool you can also see the lake. There is the possibility of using the owners private swimming pool (L shape: 16 m x 9 x 7) which is surrounded by nature. The swimmingpool is shared between apartments guests and our family . There is no lifeguard by the private pool. The diving board, the depth of 2.5 meters in the deepest part, as well as the possibility of diving from the diving board, are all rarities these days: in the vast majority of public swimming pools, the regulations prohibit even diving from the edge. In our place, this is possible only because the swimming pool is private and because we have always trusted the common sense and foresight of our guests, therefore we ask for conscientiousness in using the infrastructures that we make available, appreciating the freedom and trust that we have always given to our guests. Both apartments are quite dated but functional. The beds are 7 years old, the kitchen in house B is 2 years old. The windows are renewed in 2024. The bathrooms are dated (they do not have showers but bathtubs) but functional. The electrical system was renewed in 2024. Swimming pool was completely renewed in 2021. Fire safety certification in 2025 Guest access You can enjoy space and nature in our place, increasingly rare in our society. If you look for luxury place, this is not it! Each House A and B are big flats because they are from 80s, they both have its own big private garden and parking spot and they can have private entrance. All guest are allowed to use the private swimming pool shared by guests apartments and the owner family. Swimming pool timing is 8AM-8PM. Please read well swimmingpool details in previous description. Other things to note You may would like to know that: • Grass is not always cut, to preserve also the bees needs that must fly over and suck nectar from spontaneous flowers • Swimming pool is cleaned once a week • You are completely merged in nature so it could be possible that you could find insects inside the house, and rarely you can see wild animals such as wild boars • There are animals in the farm: horses, pigs, cats and dogs, birds in the bird cage, particular fishes that eats mosquitos in 2 fountain basin. • The water used in the swimming pool and in the houses is from a natural source in the property, it is absolutely drinkable • The barn next to the house is properly ventilated and absolutely not dangerous. • From the olive grove we obtain a certified organic extra virgin olive oil • Each House has maximum 4 reserved sunbeds by swimmingpool • Washing machine is a payment service 5€ per wash: it just accept 10 coins of 0.50€ each • Tourist tax €.2,00 per person from 14yrs old to be payed to the owner. • Eventual linen chance: €.12 single sheets, €.24 soble sheets, €.10 couple of towels. A little bit of History.. This is a quite old family owned property. The building was a very old farm house. The farmhouse has a very ancient first nucleus, which would be the cube between the porch and the living room and terrace of house B: when the first Napoleonic maps were made it was already marked inside the "Borgo Bissiniga"; it is also present in the pastoral visits to the diocesan archive around 1500 as a female monastic community. Our family used to stay in House B while the work in the big one was done. We decided to start to rent these apartments in 2006 with the choice of not modifying the environment and atmosphere, living the space full flats as they were. Of course the building and some furniture are quite dated and year by year we try to renew a part of it.
