Description
Kendal is the gateway to the Lake District and is a vibrant market town. Our house and patio overlook the garden and the cycle path. From the house it’s a 15/20 minute walk into town for shops, Brewery Arts Centre and plenty of places to eat. The space Our traditional stone house is located in a quiet cul de sac with off road parking and secure garage for bikes or motorbikes. The secure garden backs on to a tree lined path that leads into town one way and the countryside the other. Guest access There is a comfy bedroom, modern bathroom and lounge for your exclusive use. There is TV, music, books and a log fire in the lounge. We provide your breakfast in the lounge or kitchen, whichever you prefer. We offer home baked bread, toast, cereal and fruit. There are tea and coffee making facilities available. Fridge space is no problem should you need it. You are welcome to use the kitchen make your own meals, just ask. During your stay We both work locally. We can help you with your stay as much or little as you like. As outdoor enthusiasts we can advise on walks, runs and the wealth of options nearby. Other things to note We have two small, friendly dogs called Eddie and Mabel. If you are arriving by train, we are a 20 minute walk from Oxenholme Lake District station. There are regular buses from the station to 'Helme Chase , Burton Road'. It is route 41A. Run by Stagecoach.
