A lovely escape in the Heart of Cornwall's countryside. A unique cottage being a recent barn conversion with hand crafted details. The cottage is a barn conversion and has been hand crafted and designed by us. It has natural wood, wavy edged windowsills, quirky, bendy walls together with a few oddities here and there. Its unique blend of character is coupled with modern luxuries such as the underfloor heating and a massive walk in shower. There's a story to tell about most things here and most things have been handcrafted by ourselves. Outside there is ample seating in the courtyard or you could take a picnic or bbq into one of the 5 wild meadows and watch the sun disappear below the horizon and see the spectacular show of stars. No street lights to spoil your view... and it's an amazing view. For the nitty gritty we have - * An impressive Super King bed which can be divided into 2 singles for stays of over 4 nights - please ask for these upon booking as we need to arrange it before you arrive. * A fully fitted & equipped kitchen with microwave, oven and hob * A walk in shower with heated towel rail. * Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. * It's not suitable for children under 12 due to the nature of the accommodation and we do not take pets in this cottage * Your own seating and table outside by the cottage, perfect for breakfast or an evening bbq. Take your wine to one of the benches and tables dotted around the fields - the perfect chill out after a busy day exploring. * We've add some extras to help you have a lovely experience. Shower gel, shampoo, washing up liquid, toilet rolls to get you started and numerous other things. You'll get 2 pillows each and all linen is included as is a set of towels for each person. * We spend extra time sanitising the whole cottage as well as our normal cleaning routine. Having an eclectic mix of old and new, your stay here will transport you far away from normality - a true escape, yet perfectly located to explore most of Cornwall and you're just 5 miles from the nearest beach. Up to 1 small dog is welcome, (please message us first if you have more than 1). He will get his own bowls and welcome basket. We only accept dogs over 12 months and house trained. Guest access The whole cottage is just for you. The 4 acres and gardens may be shared with us or a handful of other guests, but there are so many spaces that you are assured to find a private location to enjoy the tranquility. Other things to note Great for walkers & cyclists as we are close to the Tresavean Trail which links to a huge network of mining trails. Lanner village shop is just 10 mins walk down a country lane. A little further there is the bakery and other pubs where you can get a great meal. Not far from the A30, you can easily explore just about anywhere in Cornwall, St Ives, Falmouth, Gwithian and Portreath beaches being within easy reach. Please note, the cottage has a monopitch roof so there are places upstairs which have a lower head space - it is Quirky after all. Our Wifi speed is fast for Cornwall, being an average of 47.9 Mbps download and 7.97 upload. We provide loads of things to help you have a great stay, but here is a list of things you may wish to bring Wellies - the grass can be wet in the fields Beach towels - as we only provide towels for use in the cottage Bbq charcoal - we have the bbq but you'll need the rest Slippers Your Dog's own, washed bed - they'll settle much quicker It is self catering, but we leave some things to get you started A bucket full of smiles
