Located within Dorset's National Landscape & the village of Salway Ash our 4* Visit England Apartment is 10 minute drive from the vibrant market town of Bridport, the famous Jurassic coastline & coastal path. West Bay, Lyme Regis & Charmouth, famous for fossil hunting Cosy first floor space, whilst attached to our home it's private with it's own entrance. Idyllic view of Marshwood Vale, rural and quiet. A perfect choice for couples and an ideal location to explore any time of the year The space Strongate View Apartment is a lovely, private, and cosy first-floor retreat, accessed via external stairs at the side of Strongate View House, the apartment is located at the rear, offering peace and privacy throughout your stay. The bright and comfortable lounge/living area features a comfy leather sofa and separate chair, a smart TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. A large chest stocked with games is also provided for your enjoyment. There is a separate cooking area fitted with an induction hob, microwave, Neff oven, and fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom includes a spacious shower cubicle with overhead shower, wash basin, and WC. All toiletries are provided. Bedroom Up two steps, you’ll find a generous bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, wardrobe, and full-length mirror. There is also a dedicated workspace with chair. Please note that the internal door between our house and the apartment is located in the bedroom and will be securely locked during your stay. A fold-out Jay-Be single bed is available if required. A travel cot and highchair are available. Free WiFi Access to our washing machine and dryer upon request Parking for one car at the front of the property Pets - One well-behaved dog is welcome for a small additional charge. We also provide a hot-water dog shower at the side of the house. Please note that we have a dog of our own. Dorset offers so much to explore—from charming villages and traditional pubs to the breathtaking Jurassic Coastline, perfect for coastal walks and the vibrant market town of Bridport which is a short drive away. Fossil hunting at Charmouth is a short drive away, while the seaside town of Weymouth is 25 minutes by car. Lyme Regis, the “Pearl of Dorset,” combines stunning scenery with a vibrant town, making it a must-visit destination. Guest access Strongate View is located in the heart of Salway Ash village, a couple of miles from Bridport. Parking is at the front of the property on the road. Bridport (4 miles) is famous for its twice weekly street market and thriving vintage quarter. The harbour of West Bay is situated on the Jurassic coastline which has World Heritage status. For the fossil hunter the coastline at Charmouth & Lyme Regis are a 20 minute drive away. Local wine tasting tours available at Furleigh Estate and a cider tour & tasting session at Dorset Nectar, an organic cider farm, highly recommended. Our nearest beach is West Bay, 3 miles away, or Eype. For those seeking a flat and very sandy beach then Weymouth is well worth a visit Delightful Dorset pubs await you and West Dorset is also full of footpaths for every type of walker & cyclist. Other things to note Whilst we do have a garden there is no access for guests to use it (sorry!)
