Private garden with sunset views over the Bellinger river and a spacious front veranda overlooking national state forest. 3 mins to beach by car. The space The cabin is a truly lovely space to be. It feels like home, but has everything you need for a relaxing and indulgent break away from everyday life. A spacious covered veranda looks out over majestic coastal bushland, with an abundance of native bird and wildlife, and features a table setting where you can greet the day with the birds, or enjoy the evening light with a glass of wine before dinner. At the rear of the cabin you have an attractive river stone patio, with your own 2 burner BBQ and table setting. Beyond is your own private west-facing lush green garden that overlooks the Bellinger river and the stunning sunsets over the mountains beyond. The interior is like a home away from home. Your separate bedroom contains a wonderfully comfortable queen bed with built in robes, drawers and extra bedding if needed. An electric blanket is provided to ensure cosy winter nights. Sliding doors connect the bedroom to the rear patio and the lovely garden and river views beyond. You have a spacious separate bathroom with a large shower, vanity and the same beautiful views over the river. There is also a front loading automatic washing machine and a clothes line in your garden. The kitchen, which is fully equipped with high quality appliances, has been designed for people who love to cook and eat. You even have a fresh herb garden under the kitchen window! Ceiling fans in both main rooms keep this well-insulated cabin cool in the summer, while a high quality gas convection heater will keep you warm on winter nights. The living area is open plan with a breezy dining area and comfortable living room, both with full length sliding glass doors that open on to the the front verandah and the bushland beyond. The accommodation is perfectly suited for a peaceful retreat for one, a romantic getaway for two, or can accommodate up to four if needed. In the living area there is a double futon, a wide screen television and blue ray DVD There is also a music system with iPhone 5 and USB connections for your own music collection. You have free wi fi connection through my house modem and password will be provided when you arrive. Guest access The cabin is accessed directly from your own parking space opposite the cabin. There is a small flight of sturdy stairs up to the front veranda and the cabin beyond. Guests can also enter the cabin from the private patio at the rear. Other things to note This is a semi-rural setting and it is Australia so you will expect to see occasional wildlife - lizards, lots of birds and sometimes possums.
