Strath Creek Lodge at The Village Green

Calling families, friends and like-minded groups. The Strath Creek Lodge sleeps 25 people and has three bedrooms with single bunks and the fourth bedroom with a double bed bunk. There are two bathrooms (with shower and toilet), an open plan kitchen and living area with couches and a Coonara wood heater, Wi-Fi and a smart TV for you to stream Netflix etc from your phone to the TV. The space The Strath Creek Lodge is a great way to bring people together who share an interest in fun, sport and nature, to enjoy The Village Green facilities and the beautiful, seasonal and tranquil surroundings. Whether you are looking for a venue to host your family reunion, sports and leadership camp or special gathering of friends – you can achieve it all at The Village Green. The outside deck is undercover and has a BBQ and outdoor dining, and a table tennis table providing fun for all ages. The deck provides a perfect viewing spot for the rolling hills and valleys as well as the wide range of native wildlife to be seen by day and night: kookaburras, kangaroos, wombats, the famous King Parrots and the resident lamas. It’s a great base to start the day before a game of cricket or other sports, exploring the surrounding area, and engaging in the wide range of activities the property has to offer. There is the hedge maze, cricket nets, a basketball hoop, and a low ropes course, to name a few. All rooms have aircon and heating. There is an 80-inch TV in the main living area and 2 smaller TVs in 2 of the 4 bedrooms. Mobiles with Telstra, Woolworths or Aldi providers will have good coverage. For the more adventurous, there are hills to climb, orientation courses of varying difficulty and 200 acres to explore on foot or mountain bike (if you have one). The hills are steep, so walking poles are encouraged but the view is worth it! Note: No parties, bucks or hens allowed. All noise and music must be turned off at 11:00 pm. Guests are required to bring their own sleeping bag/doona/blankets and bath towels. We supply bottom-fitted sheets, pillows, and pillowcases, as well as tea towels, bathmats, and hand towels.
