Double room near Champs Elysées for animal lovers

A lovely, cosy and comfortable double room in my apartment is available for rent. The room has WIFI access, storage space and a hairdryer. The bed very comfortable. We rent another single room out in the apartment. This room shares the toilet & bathroom .The large, typically Parisian 140m2 apartment is ideally located- 5 minutes walk from the Champs Elysées- and ideal base to discover Paris! There a 2 very friendly cats & 1 small placid Cavalier dog present, so this is is for animal lovers! The space There is a large marble bathroom which is shared with the other double bedded room guests. Lovely airy room in a large typical Parisian Haussmanian flat (140m2), located 200m from the Parc Monceau and 5 minutes walk to the Champs Elysées. We have several metro stops nearby (Etoile, Courcelles, St. Philippe du Roule).The neighbourhood is very residential, quiet on weekends, but very well located for visiting all of Paris or just chilling in the nearby parks. We have a big kitchen and lounge as well 2 other bedrooms. We rent one of the other rooms out to other Airbnb guests throughout the year. Please note that as this is my home and I open it up to you completely, therefore entrusting my guests fully, this means that there are no locks on the bedrooms. Mutual trust and respect is essential. The room that we're renting out can be rented by 1 or 2 people as it has a king size bed. the room has storage space also. I'm half Belgian, half British and have an 18 year old daughter who is studying in the UK, so home at times, but not permanently. We have two lovely, friendly cats and an adorable Cavalier King Charles dog. I've lived between Paris and London and have been in Paris for over 17 years now with over 15 years of experience hosting. We ensure a quiet, pet loving family and offer a relaxing atmosphere. Wifi, clean linen & towels are included in the price. Washer & dryer available on request also. The flat is located in the prestigious 8th Arrondissement of Paris. A fifteen to twenty minute walk will bring you to the"Faubourg Saint-Honoré" haute couture shopping street (past the Elysée Palace) and the "Boulevard Haussmann", in the Opera Garnier area, which is world renown for the "Printemps" and "Galeries Lafayette" Department Stores , the largest beauty departments in the world, 45,000 squarem of shopping dedicated to fashion & luxury brands, as well as other labels such as GAP, H&M etc....Opéra being the biggest shopping area in Paris! If you're too tired to walk home, you can either catch a direct bus or metro home, it won't take you more than 15 minutes at the most! There are 2 Starbucks' restaurants nearby for the coffee addicts. From the apartment, you can easily visit nearby attractions such as the Champs Elysées, the Arc of Triomphe, the Park Monceau, the Jacquemart André & Nissim de Commando museums all located only a few minutes away. You are also spoilt for choice in terms of classical performances, you have the Opera Garnier not far or the "Salle Pleyel" which is a 5-6 minutes walk. This area is also a great venue to go shopping, having a drink in a fancy lounge bar- the Hilton hotel is around the corner, they have a lovely lounge bar. There is also the "Ternes" area a 10 minutes walk away, which offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Other trendy bars & nightclubs are all very near. There are many cinemas with films in English on the Champs Elysées also. A visit to the Louvre museum is direct by metro (about 15 minutes door to door) followed by a picnic or romantic walk through the Tuileries gardens. The Eiffel Tower is about 20 minutes away by direct metro (line 6). Once you have covered all of the neighbourhood, you can attack the rest of Paris easily from our place! There is a variety of different public transportation options to take you in 10 - 15 minutes to Ile de la Cité - Ile Saint-Louis, Châtelet Les Halles, the Marais District or Latin quarter, Montmartre etc...amongst other options! Further out Versailles and Disneyland are also direct from Charles de Gaulle Etoile with the RER. So much to discover, we hope you enjoy your stay in Paris! During your stay I will be away when you rent this room out (it is my own room), but will be available by text. I also have family and friends living in the adjacent building for more immediate assistance. Other things to note - There are two lovely, friendly cats in the apartment- Felix and Nero, are 10 & 7 years old, Both are friendly and sociable and love to play as well as have cuddles.
