The space Crafted from polished recycled timbers, Blackwood Cottage is a cosy retreat designed for couples seeking peace and seclusion in the Otways. The upper level features a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed and a small balcony overlooking the dam — a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening reflection. On the middle level you’ll find the bathroom, while the lower level offers a well-equipped kitchen (please note there is no oven) and a comfortable living area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquil surrounds. Step outside to your private outdoor dining space with a Baby WeberQ, ideal for alfresco meals and unwinding in the fresh air. Guests at Blackwood also enjoy access to King Parrot’s shared facilities, including a communal saltwater swimming pool, games room, small gym, and an infrared sauna ($35 per session for two people, bookings required). Private bushwalking tracks wind through the property to a creek and waterfall, with plenty of opportunities to meet our friendly farm animals along the way. Important information All linen and towels are provided for each guest. Strictly no parties. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement but must remain on a lead to protect wildlife. As with any bush property, snakes may occasionally be encountered, though they are rarely seen and generally avoid people. For peace of mind, a snake kit is available at reception if needed.
