Location Arc 1950 is a unique, ski-in ski-out 5*, completely pedestrian resort on the Paradiski domain, one of the largest skiing domains in the world with over 400km of runs. Built at an altitude of 2000m, the village offers panoramic views of Mont Blanc, and is built in the authentic Savoie architectural traditions which exudes a village charm not found in most modern ski resorts. The village has a spa, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, cafes, ski hire shops and a ski school. The space The apartment in Manoir Savoie, Arc 1950 provides a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, cable TV and WIFI. Paid parking is also available with the accommodation. This apartment is 200 yards from the Cabriolet and 200 yards from Arcabulle Ski Lift. Speaking English and French, staff are always on hand to help at the 24-hour front desk. Ski-to-door access and a designated ski locker are available in the Chalet (Manoir Savoie). During the summer, the resort is equally wonderful with plenty of outdoor activities. Trekking, hiking, mountain biking, etc. there is something for everyone. The Caribou Club (the children’s crèche in the village) is open as well (so provides some free time for moms and dads). All the lifts are open as well and having lunch at a mountain refuge after a long walk is absolutely exhilarating! Guest access Guests can access the indoor/outdoor pool and sauna in the chalet/Residence as well as the gym and all the laundromat facilities located on alternative floors in the residence. Access to the ski wardrobe (also located in the residence) is via the key card and the apartment has two designated ski lockers (side by side). Other things to note There is a great selection of restaurants in and around ARC 1950. We have compiled a list of recommendations for casual dining, upscale culinary experiences as well as chalets and restaurants on the slopes which we are very happy to share with guests. There are also some lovely bars and with live music and apres atmosphere which we have included in the list of recommendations. For the younger guests, there is an amazing kids club (Caribou Club) in the centre of the village which offers activities and crèche services from 9 months onwards. For the slightly older kids 3 years +) there is a combination of crèche and ski school on offer.
